ElectRick is an electronic musician based in Amsterdam. He creates songs that do not settle to a single genre but drift between different styles of electronic music and inventing new ones as he goes along. Sometimes danceable, sometimes not, sometimes changing within the same song.
His live-set is based around some of the more upbeat and more or less danceable songs. He is not be spinning records (or songs) as a DJ, but plays instead with and improvise on layers / effects / instruments of old and new songs with the help a laptop, some synths, effects and other weird gear he gets his hands on, creating something new on the spot.
His new album has been released on Floprecords, and in the Flopshop it can be ordered on audio-cassette or freely downloaded.
